Recognised as the leading specialist in volume legal services, there are a number of exciting opportunities to join our client’s growing team on a full time, permanent basis delivering an excellent customer journey for our clients’ customers through a bespoke, best-in class service.

Our client is recruiting for an exceptional and resilient Debt Recovery Solicitor who has over 10 years PQE and strong experience of debt recovery. You will be oversighting a team with a high volume caseload, in addition to having your own caseload of complex matters.

A strong academic background and disputes experience is essential for this role. This role calls for an individual who can demonstrate leadership, resilience, tenacity, an extremely high standard of client care, and a desire to head a growing department.

As a firm dual regulated by the SRA and the FCA we take pride in providing an excellent customer journey and our approach to treating customers fairly. This involves treating each customer with respect, recognising those who may be suffering with Financial Hardship or other vulnerability which could be impacting their ability to manage their finances.

Skills Required:

• 10 years PQE
• Debt litigation experience/knowledge ofconsumer and commercial
• Ability to prioritise and organise workloads
• Communication skills
• Ability to motivate and support team members
• Ability to supervise Solicitors, Legal Execs and Paralegals
• Ability to work in a fast past environment / demanding service environment
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work to targets /deadlines and service level agreements

Experience Required:

• Debt litigation (CCJ, enforcement, defended and complex)
• Management of dealing with high volumes of correspondence
• Working to targets / deadlines and service level agreements
• Ideally some proven consumer debt recovery knowledge and experience but not essential
• Required commercial/B2B and some contract law knowledge
