Based in the Coventry office, you will market our exciting portfolio The Coventry Telegraph has to offer - digital and print products to new and existing local customers, selling advertising over the phone to companies across your allocated territory. You'll be talking to people who really appreciate what you can do for them. As part of our close-knit, motivated team, half your time will focus on developing new online business and you'll be responsible for developing existing territories and increasing market share.

This role is a great opportunity for a passionate sales professional, driven sales graduate or a candidate who is looking to return to work who has a field or telesales background. We're looking for a sales executive who is able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the competitive environment in which the Trinity Mirror plc business operates, ideally, you'll have sales experience.

What you'll be doing
We are looking for someone who is looking for a career in digital and media sales who demonstrates resilience and drive to achieve monthly targets and KPI's consistently.

- use your communication skills to build relationships with small and midmarket local businesses
- be goal orientated with commercial acumen
- offer valuable advice to your customer acting as a first point of contact
- develop a clear understanding of your local market and the great products we offer
- create advertising solutions that truly fit their needs you must be a real listener; confidence and the drive to hit your monthly targets will be key to your success.
