Community Learning Facilitator (Bank Register until 27 June 2017)

£19.41 per hour

You will contribute to ensuring a positive learning environment which encourages active participation and enables all learners to achieve their full potential, through the effective learning and teaching of students by assisting in the development, delivery and assessment of relevant resources. You will be required to support the Employability and Engagement Manager in the delivery of the community curriculum to the quality and standards required, through an integrated learning experience that supports the development and enhancement of the students, and establishing an ethos which is dedicated to the needs of the customer and delivers first class services to support the student journey and high quality learning and teaching experiences

You will be qualified to HND level or equivalent in and/or relevant experience in a related subject area relevant to the Skill Area, e.g. ICT, Employability, Drama, Music, Art, Beauty, Languages, Counselling, other skills sets will be considered.

It is also desirable, but not essential, that you hold, or are working towards, a professional teaching qualification and have experience of teaching within the relevant discipline.
