Our client has identified an opportunity for an experienced Events Manager to join their London based financial information company.

As Event Manager you will be responsible for the overall management and overseeing the company events which include pre-event co-ordination, marketing, sales and delivery.
Position Summary;
As Events Manager your daily remit will involve an array of duties and tasks including;
• Managing the production of conferences, seminars and awards dinners
• Sponsorship sales management to meet revenue targets
• Delivery of event within budget, including cost management
• Liaising with venues and suppliers
• Management of events on the day
• Preparing and executing events proposals and contracts
• Managing events staff
• Overseeing event partnerships and marketing
• Overseeing delegate registration and sales
• Managing event communications and updates

Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will hold the required skills and experience to hit the ground running in this role;
• Be educated to degree level or equivalent is essential
• Have a successful track record in B2B conference production with a minimum of 2 years experience essential
• Previous experience in a commercial conference sales role is essential
• Excellent research skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth research
• Effective time management; strong commercial acumen; and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Be engaging, professional and have a diplomatic demeanour
• Posses soft selling skills
• Experience successfully selling corporate events sponsorship packages and event attendance
