Salary:  £33,574 - £38,896 per annum

 

Primarily based at the Carmarthen Campus, but will be expected to work at the Swansea campus and also deliver off-campus, for example at Cardiff, Bridgend, Aberystwyth, depending on student demand.

The School of Early Childhood at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David has been innovative in its commitment to Welsh medium higher education. Part of the School’s strategic plan is to continue to develop new innovative programmes and expand the type of opportunities the School offers by, for instance, expanding access to non-traditional types of students and utilising flexible methods of delivery.

The positions are primarily concerned with delivering teaching in a variety of different learning environments and using a variety of teaching styles and approaches, including devising a range of teaching and assessment materials, covering several modules and subject areas.  The post holders will be expected to offer both academic and pastoral feedback and support to students to the highest professional standards and with regard to the ongoing enhancement of the student experience.  Other duties may include scholarship, research, training or project work, dissertation supervision, student recruitment, marketing activities.

This post holders will contribute to the development, teaching, delivery and assessment of the School’s programmes through both a traditional day time mode of delivery and by other flexible modes which will include evening and Saturday delivery. The post holders will be required to deliver programmes offeredoff-campus, for example at Swansea, Cardiff, Bridgend, Aberystwyth and further afield, depending on student demand.
