Our client is a grade one Outstanding OFSTED college with a local, national and international reputation for the delivery of high quality, innovative teaching and learning. One of the college's key defining features is its use of digital technologies. We have recently been awarded the TES 2016 FE Award for Outstanding use of technology for improving teaching and learning. Their modern, purposefully designed centre based in the heart of Birmingham, close to local amenities and transport, is seeking an outstanding IT Trainer to join our high performing team.

You will be a passionate educator with a solid background in a range of IT disciplines including Coding and Web Development, capable of conveying complex ideas to students in a way that makes learning engaging and fun. Experience of teaching a diverse range of ages is essential, as a key part of this role is the preparation of young people for a level 3 apprenticeship in the workplace.

You will have a practical, hands-on teaching approach which ensures their students are able to understand and complete tasks in subjects such as Social Media, networking, desktop support, databases, website development and programming.

The successful applicant will take responsibility for overseeing development, delivery and tracking of all aspects of the programme, as well as ensuring quality processes are adhered to.
