Due to an on-going commitment from the college to drive improvement in the use of Technology Enhanced Learning, our client has an exciting opportunity for an individual to work withintheir multidisciplinary technology enhanced learning and resources team. Based at their Kings Lynn Campus as the TEL Learning Technologist you will work across all of their sites to help them to make informed decisions about their use of digital technologies to enhance learning experiences and support then in the effective use of college learning systems. You will also act as product owner for a number of key learning systems.

You will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of digital learning technologies support for users within their areas of responsibility using a range of methods. Reporting to the Technology Enhanced Learning Manager and working closely with a team of specialists in learning resources you will contribute your skills and knowledge to a team providing effective digital learning support and training services to their user community. You will be the primary expert in digital learning technologies and act as a focal point for the co-ordination and assessment of user requirements through the formulation of customer plans. The culture and ethos of this role is directed towards staff and student users of Technology Enhanced Learning services and the teaching and learning needs of the College as a whole.

You must have a digital technologies or IT related qualification at level 3, or equivalent. You must have a Level 2 Maths and English (GCSE A*-C) qualification or equivalent, or be willing to obtain. You must have experience of providing training in a variety of applications/system e.g. MS Office desktop Applications, SharePoint or Office 365, but relevant experience in other areas will be considered if clear transferable skills are identified by the candidate and information. You must also have experience of digital literacy systems (e.g. library catalogues, online journals, databases, Moodle or VLE and experience of information and digital literacy systems (e.g. library catalogues, online journals and databases).
