Design Technology Technician (Maternity Cover required asap for a permanent member of staff)

Grade 3 (SCP 16 – 21), £17,169- £19,939 pro rata

Full time, 36.66 hours per week, term time only plus 3 weeks

We are looking to recruit a committed and dynamic Design and Technology Technician, to provide technical support to the staff and pupils within the DT Department during the maternity leave of a permanent member of staff.

The successful candidate must be qualified to NVQ level 2 and have a knowledge of health and safety within a school or practical based working environment, a working knowledge of a range of D&T techniques (e.g. Woodwork, Engineering, Construction), be able to work with students within a classroom environment and undertake general maintenance and preparation of resources and equipment. Knowledge of CAD/CAM equipment an essential.
