Education Centre & Community Benefits Manager Required!

Due to continuing business success and growth we now have a fantastic opportunity available for an Education Centre & Community Benefits Manager to join our team in Cardiff. Working 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Education Centre & Community Benefits Manager key responsibilities:
  • Raise awareness and a better understanding of the ERF facility and Viridor
  • Day-to-day management of the Trident Park ERF education and visitor centre
  • Raise awareness of the facility, resource management and energy recovery sector as a whole in the local community
  • Support education and awareness programmes and activities at other sites when required
  • Develop links between Viridor and the waste and environmental education sector and relevant elements within the resource and energy recovery sector
The ideal Education Centre & Community Benefits Manager:
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety and equality requirements for public visits and operational sites
  • Knowledge of, or experience working with or liaising with, schools and teaching methods and systems
  • The ability to manage projects, prioritise and work to rigid timelines.
  • Experience of working in a visitor centre or similar environment
  • Experience of delivering education programmes at formal and informal levels
  • Experience of working with public groups from diverse backgrounds including school students, the wider public and other stakeholders.
In return for your hard work, you can expect to receive a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum with a range of benefits
