Our client is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. They now help around 205,000 cats and kittens through their network of over 250 volunteer run branches and 31 adoption centres and homing centres.

Birmingham Adoption Centre is situated in Hollywood, south of the city of Birmingham.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly self-motivated, positive and resilient to join their team of Adoption Centre Managers. 

As Adoption Centre Manager you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the centre in line with the charity’s main aims: homing, neutering and education and in compliance with all policies and procedures and will have overall responsibility for the welfare of cats in the Centre’s care.

The candidate will need to be a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills, excellent people management skills, experience of working in similar roles and have a good knowledge of recruiting, managing and retaining volunteers.  You will also have the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people and functions. 

Other essential skills are financial management and customer service.

It would be desirable for the candidate to have some Marketing and Engagement skills.
