Finance Officer – Investments

£31,225 – £35,328

The Representative Body of the Church in Wales is a registered charity managing an investment portfolio of over £500m as well as a significant property portfolio. The principal role of the organisation is to hold and manage the assets of the Church in Wales to respond to the current financial challenges to ensure ongoing financial viability to support the continuing work of the Church in Wales.

You will be responsible for organising, co-ordinating and supervising the work associated with the administration of all aspects of our investments.

You must have experience of working in a professional financial environment, ideally with knowledge of administering an investment portfolio. An understanding of Charity Accounting and Accounting Standards would be beneficial. Good oral and written communication skills with an ability to explain technical financial terminology to non financial people is essential.
