Lead Teacher ASD

Are you an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher with a specialism in ASD who is looking for a new position to start ASAP?
The school pride themselves on the level of support which they offer to their students therefore previous experience of working as an SEN teacher in a specialist school is highly desirable, although not essential. However in order to be considered for this post you will need to have recent experience of working with ASD students in SEN Schools
The class sizes on average have between 8-12 pupils per class and 1-3 full time Learning Support Assistants at all times depending on the individual students needs. Knowledge of PECS and Makaton is desirable for this role in order to be able to effectively communicate with some of the students. Team Teach trained is also preferable but Randstad Education can offer this.
We are looking for Teachers with:
QTS, NQT or equivalent
Experience of teaching pupils on the Autistic Spectrum
Up to date Knowledge of the National Curriculum
