Our client is a friendly 4 star inn located between the national parks of Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. They are currently looking for a Sous Chef to work alongside their existing head chef during busier service periods and standing in for him during his days off.
Previous experience of working with fresh food to a good standard in a busy kitchen would be necessary. The ability to work single handedly during quieter periods and during preparation times is also important.
They also have a vacancy front of house and this position may therefore be of interest to a couple. Front of house duties include housekeeping, meal service, bar work and some evening lock ups.
Live in is available if required, we can provide a self contained flat with fitted kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom.
Own transport is recommended due to rural location and lack of a regular bus service.
