They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager at their Cambridge site.

The role will be to optimise all aspects of the production of Preserves Lines including management of materials and labour. Particular emphasis is placed on the short- to medium-term strategy of enabling the factory to respond to the growth plans of all brands in area of control.

To support the team in ensuring maximum utilisation of operational staff and equipment in achieving optimal line efficiency within the Company safety, quality & environmental policies. To promote an environment that challenges the existing processes and strives for excellence through continuous improvement & flexibility

You will be responsible for ensuring that the operation complies with all legislative and ethical standards with regard to safety, food hygiene and staff management. You will promote of the effective cross-functional team working between manufacturing and support services.

Proactively manage the culture and behavioural values to ensure that the Teams are well placed to respond to current, and future, market demands and technical opportunities. Ensuring that operational flexibility is maintained so that brand and own label innovation is not restricted

Understand, challenge and seek to improve on industry “best practise” to drive a continuous improvement philosophy within the factory.

To be a great candidate for this role you will have:

Essential:

HND or relevant experience

Drivers Licence

3 - 5 years Manufacturing

Desired:
