Teacher in Motor Vehicle

Salary: up to £30,710

Hours: 37 hours per week

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team of professionals to help develop the next generation of technicians in the Motor industry. We have a clear vision to deliver a high quality of practical and technical training in our new £34million campus facilities.

You will have worked in the Motor Industry within the past year, and have at least 5 years' experience in the motor trade, or already be in a teaching role. You will hold a minimum of Level 3 NVQ vehicle technician or equivalent in the Motor Trade and your Teaching Qualification. An A1 Assessors Award and a V1 Internal verifier's award is also desirable and knowledge of IMI systems is preferable but not essential as training will be provided.

Good organizational, communicational and time management skills are essential alongside good I.T skills, as uploading of student work is essential to this role. You will be able to work both on your own and as a part of a team. This role also provides you an opportunity to help develop work experience for our learners within the automotive curriculum area. The successful candidate will be flexible, and possess good motivational skills. Knowledge and experience of working in a workshop environment is essential, combined with knowledge and understanding of leading edge technology.
