HGV Driver - Class 2

We are looking to recruit a reliable HGV Class 2, CPC accredited driver. Operating in a customer focussed role, successful applicants will be part of team that delivers dry goods and liquids to farms across Northern England, the Midlands and Wales via 26t and 18t Scania flatbed and curtainsider lorries.

Applicants must be flexible with regard to working hours and possess a willingness to spend nights away (on average two per week). The average working week is 48 hours with more being worked in winter and less in summer. Although the hours will vary, the salary will be paid in equal instalments providing a good level of guaranteed income throughout the year.

The role involves some 'handballing' of products so applicants must be able to lift 25kg loads without assistance.

An attractive and competitive package includes a salary of £28,500 per annum (equivalent to £11.39 per hour for an average 48 hour week), 33 days holiday and a contributory pension scheme.
