Our client administers the Civil Service Pension Scheme and provide pensions to over 1.5 million people.  With a strong heritage as the provider of a broad portfolio of administration services, their deep public and private sector knowledge and experience means they are a unique provider in the field. 

A number of Test Analyst positions have now arisen within the Software Testing team at their office in Liverpool.  The team is responsible for the testing of all project and BAU software deliveries within the organisation following agreed processes and standards. 

Reporting in to a Test Lead you will be responsible for creating and executing test scripts on all software releases, ensuring the products meet the agreed business requirements. You will also be responsible for raising incidents in the event that test results do not meet expected outcomes.

In order to be successful in this position, it is essential that you have experience of working as a Test Analyst, or experience of working in a wider IT project or change environment.

With experience of working to strict and changing deadlines, you will be able to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders including test team members, business users and suppliers.

Candidates should also hold GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at grade C or above and will be competent in MS Office applications.

Although not essential, IT or testing qualifications would be beneficial along with previous experience in a pensions / financial services environment.
