Our Banking and Finance practice are currently looking for a talented solicitor or associate to join the team in Leeds. With a strong rating in Chambers, and an enviable FTSE 250 client list, this is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary banking practice with a truly national reach.
Acting for major banks, other financial institutions, borrowers and a number of commercial clients in the manufacturing, leisure, retail and healthcare sectors among others, we provide a full range of advice on finance matters from bilateral and LMA based club transactions, asset, acquisition, project and property finance to restructurings and refinancing. Working closely with our clients, truly understanding their sectors, their strategic goals and vision, the team can provide high quality and specialist advice.. Recent client highlights include supporting Santander on their funding of Poundworld and Red's True BBQ, supporting a national housebuilder client in relation to a multi-million pound term and revolving facilities from a club of lenders, in order to further their long term development strategy, and advising specialist development finance funds in relation to the provision of facilities to fund the development of a diverse class of assets ranging from wind turbines to hotels. The work that we do goes to the heart of our clients' business and it's no wonder our they rate us so highly.
Working with Chambers rated Partner John Connor, the successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and client centric team. This role will offer access to a broad range of banking and finance work - the successful candidate will therefore need to be able to demonstrate broad experience gained from a city or regional banking or corporate finance practice. More importantly will be the ability to work collaboratively, and to bring intellectual rigour and an incisive approach to some sometimes challenging and complex issues.
