We have an excellent position for a Trainer - Fleet Management to join a leading Engineering Service Company on a contract basis based in Bristol.
You will need to learn the features, functionality and procedures for a new fleet management information system becoming a 'super user'. Travelling to assigned regions, you will deliver training to multiple customer groups against the training plan timeline ensuring users have received training and are competent to use the new service from their go-live dates.
You will be expected to travel to assigned regions delivering training from pre-arranged locations using the materials and equipment provided. The role is expected to complete training in multiple regions so extensive travelling and staying away from home will be necessary during this change programme.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Receive intensive training on the new fleet management system becoming a competent super user
*Deliver train-the-trainer training modules to user community
*In line with the transition phases, ensure a minimum of 90% of assigned users have received training prior to their intended go-live date
*Arrange and gain approval from the customer; suitable locations, premises and dates where users can receive training, ensuring locations and equipment are suitable to support those with special needs
*Arrange with nominated customer contacts the availability of suitable IT terminals to provide system based training
*Engage with site contacts ahead of training sessions to ensure facilities are ready and have all the necessary equipment to conduct the planned training session
*Engage with users before their planned training session to confirm attendance and provide any pre-reading or materials in advance of their session
*Engage with users after their training session to gain feedback and training evaluation
*Working with the wider training team, amend training materials in line with feedback (InVal and ExVal)
*Upload training records providing an audit trail of training provided
*Deliver ad-hoc training via other methods such as telephone or webinar training as required
*If travelling abroad, follow the company procedures and gain relevant approvals prior to taking any IT equipment or data out of the UK
*Manage travel booking and expenses in line with company and policy#
Qualifications required
*Minimum of Level 3 Training Qualification or its Equivalent
*Assessor Award
*Instructional Design Experience
*Good IT Skills to include MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint)
*Experience of fleet management systems and processes
*Experience of Defence Systems and Approach to Training (DSAT)
*Full driving licence
*You will receive training on the Fleet management System
*Knowledge of the MOD would be great but definitely not essential
SC Clearance would be desirable but not essential, but you must be able to undergo successful security clearance.
