An opportunity has arisen to work as a Head Chef for a prestigious private organisation in Winchester.
The key tasks for this role include:
- Ordering provisions of the kitchen to ensure there are sufficient food stocks
- Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked and presented to the highest of standards all of the time
- Managing the preparation and cooking of healthy and satisfying meals that provide the optimum nutritional value
- Working within a set food budget
- Undertaking general kitchen duties
- Ensuring all deliveries are checked for the right quality and quantity
This role requires someone flexible who has a helpful and co-operative approach with the ability to work well under pressure and meet the physical demands of the job. The possession of NVQ 3 (or equivalent) is essential for this role and previous experience as a Head Chef is preferred.
The hours are 40 per week and are worked over a two week rota, 38.5 weeks of the year.
The exact salary for these hours is GBP17,687
