Our client, a well established, multi award winning luxury Lake District hotel, is looking for a Chef de Partie to join their team. Nestled in the heart of the countryside with beautiful views and a fantastic atmosphere, they are a kitchen team that cooks from fresh and believes in using locally sourced produce. The menus are updated seasonally to meet availability in the area and uses exciting modern techniques to achieve classic flavours.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
*An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) is essential.
*Proven experience working in a commercial gastro-pub / hotel kitchen as a Commis chef or Chef de Partie
*The passion and desire to learn, develop and hone your culinary skills is expected
*Ability to work as part of a passionate and dedicated team sometime under pressure and to tight timescales
*A creative flair with imagination to work alongside the Head Chef and try new dishes
You will be working straight shifts and benefits include meals on duty, whites, free parking and company discounts. Due to the location of this hotel your own transport is essential, there is no opportunity to live in.
