Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to provide finance support within Prodrive's Brand& business. In this position you will provide financial integrity to the month-end process, review and ensure compliance with all Prodrive finance policies and meet all financial reporting deadlines.

Brand& has almost 20 years' experience in creating merchandise collections for clients from all sectors. Brand& offer an end-to-end service from design, production and quality control, through to supporting sales and marketing activity and distributing collections worldwide. Through our expertise in specialist production and long standing partnerships with manufacturers, we ensure that we deliver uncompromising quality, always on time.

Key Responsibilities:

* To administer the AP function, including the set up of new supplier accounts and ensuring that all invoices are matched with POs and entered on IFS in an accurate and timely manner
* To reconcile supplier statements, ensuring that any discrepancies are investigated by liaising with creditors and internal staff
* To co-ordinate weekly supplier payments, including liaising with the Production Department for any urgent payment requirements and reconciling the factory payments
* To support the Sales Department with customer orders, ensuring all invoices and credit notes are raised in an accurate and timely manner
* Responsible for assessing the credit risk on new accounts, collecting overdue debt and providing regular aged debtor analyses
* To complete the daily bank reconciliation, allocating payments and receipts.
* Maintain the petty cash, out of pocket and credit card expense process in line with company policy ensuring validity and authorisation
* Update and maintain the Fixed Asset Register including additions and disposals and reconciling assets and depreciation to the general ledger. Administer finance lease transactions
* Produce quarterly royalty reports for external clients
* Create and post journals - accruals and general journals
* Reconciling of all balance sheet accounts
* Reconcile inter-company cross charging
* Provide accurate and timely financial information to support finance and management teams
* Assist with the audit preparation
* Ad hoc finance support.

For this position the following is essential:

- Strong IT skills including Microsoft excel to competent level

- Experience of using a fully integrated accounting system

- AAT Qualification

* Excellent team player with flexible approach to different tasks and changing requirements
* Manufacturing experience beneficial, although not essential.
