An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced energy/sustainability consultant to join a leading engineering consultancy with a global reach. You will join an expanding team of dedicated specialists on a full or part time basis.
The main purpose of this role is to deliver large complex and niche projects on time and to the highest technical standard along with team management support. You will oversee the completion of thermal/energy modelling of buildings using TAS, building physics CFD modelling, provide planning and design advice, renewable energy feasibility studies, write reports and proposals, and liaise with clients. You will also be involved with business development and team management.
You should have significant sustainability/energy experience gained within a consultancy, across commercial offices, residential schemes, education, retail and mixed use developments. You will also have:
• Proven abilities to:
oLead a team(s)
oManage large complex projects
oCarry out budget control
oUndertake business development
• Excellent knowledge/expertise in sustainability building design, renewables, and low carbon technologies
• A BSc/MSc in an environmental or engineering discipline
• Membership of a relevant professional body
