What will the role involve?
We have a series of opportunities across the North West, and in these roles you will build and maintain relationships with key employers, stakeholders and delivery partners. Through them, you will source eligible learners for learndirect Adult Skills training courses.
Some of the main accountabilities will include:
•Promoting learndirect's adult skills courses and other contracts to key referral partner agencies, to ensure occupancy targets on training programmes
•Working with employers to promote maths and English support services for employed learners, to up-skill their workforce with functional skills
•Working with employers to source potential managed job vacancies, and structure bespoke pre-employment training courses for the resultant recruitment
•Identifying and implementing partnership opportunities within learndirect
•Achieving referral and employer engagement targets across a range of industries and contracts
•Establish, build and maintain partnerships with a wide portfolio of existing and potential partners to fulfil the business needs through regular contact and management
•Actively seek new business opportunities with stakeholders
•Develop a network of relationships with employed learners through business development and marketing engagement
•Maintain accurate records of specified business development activity and provide timely and consistent data using learndirect systems
•Identify key networking opportunities to maximise your impact on your centre(s) and supply chain referrals increasing income opportunities
•Deliver pitches and presentations to referral partners and stakeholders to secure new business
•Maintain an excellent level of product knowledge and understanding of all funding opportunities
•Advertise and promote learndirect to referral partners, employers and potential learners using a wide range of techniques in order to achieve learner acquisition targets
•Attend networking events and other promotional opportunities, maintaining a professional and credible profile on behalf of learndirect - these may be outside of normal working hours, so some flexibility is required.
What skills, experience, and qualifications are we looking for?
To be successful, your application must be able to demonstrate:
•Proven success in a target-driven sales environment, ideally related to employability, education, or adult skills
•Proven success in generating high levels of repeat business and success in developing and managing long term business partnerships
•Strong and confident presentation, communication, and networking skills
•Pragmatic and analytical problem-solving skills
•Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively network
•Strong IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Office applications
•A current valid driving licence and own car.
