We are looking for a Nursery Nurse (level 3 qualified or equivalent) to join a recognised childcare provider in Northampton.

You will report to the Room Leader and your main purpose will be to provide the highest level of care for children in the nursery.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Supervising and supporting children within your care, ensuring individual needs of children are identified and met.
• Preparing and supervising activities, ensuring the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements are met
• Working as part of a team to ensure the environment is welcoming at all times and enables children to learn, develop and play
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, parents/carers, colleagues and visitors.
• Complying with company policies, procedures and operational practices.
• Attending staff meetings, planning meetings and training when required
• Maintaining discretion and confidentiality when required

The successful applicant will have:
• Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare / Early Years
• An excellent understanding of EYFS
• An excellent understanding of safeguarding / knowledge of child protection procedures
