Job Title: Subcontractor Manager (Welfare to Work)

Location: Staffordshire

Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP40,000

KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a private Training Provider who is looking to appoint a Subcontractor Manager to manage the performance and quality delivery of subcontractor training organisations within the Welfare to Work Sector.

Duties include;

- Responsible for the management of the subcontracted provision for the Welfare to Work sector
- Main point of contact for subcontractor / partner communication and responsible for managing the supply chain
- Performance management of the subcontracted provision ensuring achievement of KPIs including; Starts, Progressions, Timely Achievements, Audit Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement a subcontractor quality assurance planner, incorporating training, Observations of Teaching and Learning and induction / paperwork checks
- Regularly communicate with subcontractors / partners to ensure they are compliant, including spot checks on delivery and paperwork
- Review and update processes / paperwork for subcontractors / partners including Due Diligence processes for new subcontractors / partners, data reporting and general contract management
- Collate and report data monthly regarding claims, proposed starters, achievers, at risk learners and exits from subcontractor collated data, and evaluating this data against the contracted profile
- Identify new potential subcontractors and partners, support with the tender process including negotiation of terms / price etc???

Essential Experience:

- Experience of managing subcontractor / partner providers within the Welfare to Work sector
- Understanding of the funding criteria and subcontractor rules / compliance
- Proven experience of successfully leading and performance managing subcontractors
- Experience of quality assurance principles and practices
- Awareness and sound knowledge of Safeguarding and Prevent
- Equal Opportunities & Safeguarding delivery requirements
- Audit and compliance processes
- Ability to write reports, forecast data and coordinate data information and advice on corrective action
- Experience of risk assessment and observation

Personal Skills:

- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with national travel
