Prospero Teaching are currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants for roles across Primary and Secondary Schools in the Colchester area.
Do you need to gain more experience in the classroom before your PGCE? Do you need experience towards teacher training applications? This role would be ideal for you!
This Teaching Assistant position involves assisting teachers in and out of class. You will participate in the pre-lesson planning and preparation. Your responsibilities will include learning the best way to use resources to assist pupils learning and how to maximise results with these tools. You will be joining a team of teachers who work well under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team and will assist you in any areas of development to ensure you're ready for the upcoming teacher training programme. You will be leading pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups and receiving support from an outstanding Teacher who will be your particular mentor throughout your time at the school.
