Quality Assurance Engineer
GBP20-30k Dependent on experience
Commutable from York, Harrogate, Leeds, Wetherby and Northallerton
Growing manufacture are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure all products comply with strict quality standards investigating non conformances and implementing improvements where possible.
Your day to day role as the Quality Assurance Engineer will include:
??Dealing directly with customers regarding quality issues / complaints and investigating all non conformances
??Liaising / working with internal production staff to identify problems and implement improvements
??Assisting with implementing quality inspection and testing systems and procedures
??Working with suppliers to resolve raw material quality failures
??Carrying out internal audits
??Assisting in the development of new quality systems along side the Quality Manager
??Managing and monitoring of all quality documentation
??Identifying problems and making improvements
??Report writing and presenting to internal managers and directors
As the Quality Assurance Engineer you will:
??Have previous experience in a similar role
??Have excellent attention to detail
??Be confident speaking with and dealing with customers and be able to present at internal meetings
??Have worked within an ISO 9001 environment
??Experience of working with modern quality tools such as 5 whys and 8D methods
??Have experience of implementing improvements and SOPs
??Previous auditing experience
??Have experience implementing and managing quality systems
??Have experience working in manufacturing, overseeing process improvements
