Assystem UK are working with a major Automotive manufacturing who are in need of a degree educated CAE Analyst for their Research and Development Facility in Bedfordshire.
The successful analyst will be required to conduct CAE analysis work in accordance with company working practices
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
-Preparing / modifying meshed models of vehicle structures
-Conducting linear and non-linear analysis
-Reporting concerns to CAE team management and design groups
-Working with and leading design teams in concern root cause and countermeasure studies.
-Coordinating and liaising with various groups within the business on a global scale.
You must have a minimum of 2 years CAE experience gained within an automotive engineering environment, with a particular emphasis on vehicle safety crash performance.
Familiarity with the following CAE applications would be a distinct advantage: Hyperworks, Animator, PAMCRASH, NASTRAN.
