Muliti Skilled maintenance engineer (mechanical biased)

We are looking to recruit an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical biased) for our well known client in the Wakefield area. Candidates will ideally be HNC/ ONC Qualified in Mechanical Engineering with demonstrable experience working on fast moving production plant from a mechanically biased perspective covering gear boxes, motors, pumps etc. Candidates with a keen interest in developing skills in Electrical Maintenance will be support if the right attitude is shown. This is a Permanent position for an immediate start based on a permanent day shift (7am-3pm). Candidates will ideally be from a FMCG background with a knowledge of fast moving plant.

Job Description

• Reactive and planned preventative mechanical maintenance.
• Maintenance of a wide range of plant including gear boxes, motors and pumps
• Ability to efficiently rectify any mechanical problems
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Must be able to prioritise work load to complete work as efficiently as possible to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.

Candidate Skills
HNC/ONC in Mechanical Engineering
Basic Electrical knowledge (Advanteageous)
Demonstrable experience with pumps , motors and shafts.
Demonstrable experience working within an FMCG environment
