Shift Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a past paced component manufacturer operating both traditional machinery and automated production machinery, seek to appoint a Shift Maintenance Engineer. The appointed Shift Maintenance Engineer will be multi-skilled with an electrical bias and experienced in fault finding, breakdown repair and planned maintenance with automated machinery in a medium to high volume environment. In return the company offers a competitive salary, profit share and attendance bonus and excellent benefits with a higher than normal pension contribution by them; regular overtime is available. Shift Maintenance Engineer - Role and Responsibilities
- Mixture of day to day breakdown response and PPM work
- Regular PLC fault finding
- Occasional project / CI / lean work
- 6-2, 2-10 and 10-6 on a two week rotation Monday to Friday

Shift Maintenance Engineer - Skills and Abilities
- Qualified to a minimum of City and Guilds level with 16th or 17th edition
- Background in PLC driven machinery
- Experience of an automotive environment beneficial but not essential
- Experienced PLC fault finder. Siemens S7 knowledge preferred but not essential
- Team player who is happy with periods of lone working
