Adecco are proud to be working with a large organisation in Canterbury that are seeking somebody to join their hospitality team as a Housekeeping Supervisor.

You will be expected to provide and maintain a quality housekeeping service to students, conference delegates and staff, as well as supervise the day to day arrangements for the domestic service provision.

It is essential that you have previous experience as a supervisor, but not necessarily in the hospitality industry.

Your key responsibilities will be;
*Supervision of housekeeping team.
*Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, security and discipline.
*Adhere to legal requirements and procedures.
*Maintain all aspects of stock control with their area of responsibility.
*Compiling and monitoring all housekeeping records, as well as preparing reports to enhance the efficient management of housekeeping service.
*Preparation of staff rotas.
*Liaising with customers.

The role also involves undertaking duties which include Health, Safety and wellbeing.

It is essential that the candidate has;
*GCSE or Equivalent in English and Maths grade C or
*Basic computing skills to include the ability to use MS word, Email, PowerPoint and Excel.
*Proven experience in health and Safety.
*Leading and motivating a team
*Experience in a customer focused environment.

You will be responsible for 12 members of staff supporting a team of another 11 supervisors.

In return you will be paid a salary of GBP16,357.

Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 8:30am - 16:30pm, September to June.

In the busier periods of June till September you will be required to work Monday to Sunday, however you will still receive two days off in the week.

You will be entitled to 25 days holiday plus 8 days for bank holidays.
