Our Client is an established and profitable multi million pound turnover Business specialising in the production and supply of the highest quality natural food ingredients, supplying major food manufacturers and processors throughout the UK and Europe.

The Business is experiencing growth and is going from strength to strength and, as a result of a recent re-structure, an exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the Finance Team and play a key role in ensuring that financial reporting and business unit accounts are accurately maintained and finance information is reported in a timely manner to the Senior Management of the Company.

Our Client is seeking a person possessing good all round finance and accountancy experience, gained from previously having a hands-on role within a finance department, and who understands the practical application of finance systems and routines associated with invoicing and ledgers, account reconciliations and control accounts, as well as the production of management accounts.

As such, you should be able to demonstrate a sound level of practical exposure, backed up by formal academic knowledge, possibly gained through studying for an AAT or other professional accounting qualification would be an advantage. A sound working knowledge of windows based applications (including Excel), as well as a familiarity with accounting based IT systems, is a pre-requisite. Experience with Microsoft DynamicsNav would be a distinct advantage.
