THE COMPANY:
Brewster Pratap are recruiting an experienced Business Support Team Analyst for a large, shared service centre based in Sheffield. Based close to the motorway they are accessible from Barnsley, Rotherham, Worksop and Chesterfield.
THE JOB:
The main purpose of the role is to provide functional systems support to business users working in the back office. Reporting to the Business Support Team Analyst duties will include:
Providing telephone and on-site support to business users in the functional use of Business IT Systems
Coordinating with the relevant resolver groups to determine the most appropriate solution to the users problem
Delivering classroom training to new & existing team members within the Back Office Finance departments
Maintaining and assisting in the development of training materials related to business systems
Other ad hoc duties as required
THE PERSON:
You must have a strong understanding of Purchase / Sales / General Ledgers
Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices with an awareness of the P&L and balance sheet statutory framework
Strong analytical, communication, planning and time management skills are required
Experience of working with computerised accounting software is essential
You must have the ability to work as part of a team but also have the ability to work on your own initiative
Effective coaching and feedback skills are required
Driving licence required and must be willing to travel as necessary
