Showroom Manager

An important role taking responsibility for the day to day running of a large specialist Janitorial and Catering Showroom at their HQ in Bristol. Ensuring products and services are merchandised to an excellent standard and the highest levels of Customer Service are given at all times. You will manage, motivate and develop an enthusiastic team to deliver results for this family owned and run company.

Main Responsibilities:

- Develop customer relationships within the showroom to agreed standard
- Understanding their customer's business needs and offering cleaning and catering solutions
- Work closely with suppliers to provide most comprehensive knowledge of products
- Present products and services to retain and develop customer loyalty
- Manage and inspire a motivated and driven sales team
- Develop a programme to train staff in sales on products and application
- Inspire and plan campaigns to drive footfall raising awareness of company specialisation
- Ensure merchandise is represented to the highest standards and stock location regularly reviewed
- Play an active role in reviewing customer service and marketing developments
- Plan team activity to ensure staffing levels are met daily and security and safety of staff protected

Experience:

- Able to demonstrate excellent sales experience preferable in retail environment
- Experience of team leadership and ability to motivate
- Ability to collate data and use to develop systems
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven management experience in leading, motivating and developing a team
- Exceptional retail customer service experience
- Ability to work in a high paced environment and to multitask
- Computer literate, experienced with till systems
