Our client is a well-established charity which has been operating since 1981. They provide specialist palliative care and support to patients with terminal illnesses whilst offering vital emotional support for their families thereby aiming to enhance the quality of life of individuals living with a life-threatening, incurable illness. The support they offer is tailored to meet individuals' medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs.
We are looking for an experienced Retail Co-ordinator to support the Retail Manager in the day to day operations of the Hospice shops and online sale platforms. The Retail Co-ordinator will act as the first point of contact for shop co-ordinators and volunteers, handling any enquiries that are received and escalating when appropriate. The successful candidate will also support the warehouse function through effective stock distribution and the co-ordination of volunteer drivers.
Strong people skills are essential, as you will come into contact with over 400 dedicated volunteers, and collaborate with other Hospice colleagues.
The position is based at the Hospice in Hindley however the role will involve significant travel between each of the 13 shops and warehouse therefore a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role.
A Disclosure and Barring Services Check (DBS) will be required.
