Lecturer in Automotive
£22,335 - £32,344 per annum
37 Hours per week
We are seeking to recruit an inspirational Automotive Lecturer to join the automotive team to teach and motivate our learners. The successful candidate will have excellent up-to-date automotive knowledge and experience and the personality and desire to share their Industry skills.
Key roles include:
Delivering high quality teaching and learning
Guiding and supporting learners in FE
Providing appropriate material and activities for learners
Plan, develop and evaluate lessons delivered
Development of qualifications including higher apprenticeships and HNC/HND management
Using your understanding of the Automotive Industry you will ensure the achievement and success of your learners. You will be involved in workshop teaching, class room teaching, tutorial work and associated organisational/administrative work in preparation and marking. As well as producing schemes of work and lesson plans you will be involved in moderation and student interviews.
In this role you will be developed to demonstrate innovative teaching methods with your excellent communication skills. Your ability to motivate learners of all ages will be essential.
You will hold a minimum Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Automotive. We will support you to gain a teaching qualification if you do not currently hold one.
