Our Client currently has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer, based in Caistor, Lincolnshire and are offering a competitive salary to the right candidate.
The Role:
As a key member of the site engineering team your responsibilities will include:
The ideal candidate will be a committed and driven individual and an excellent communicator, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hours of work are 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, either 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm (1pm & 9pm finish on Friday)

The Role:
As a key member of the site engineering team your responsibilities will include:
- Being proactive with regards to maintaining site machinery and recommending ongoing improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
- Ensuring you are familiar and knowledgeable with all existing equipment on site
- Ensuring machinery is fit for purpose and meets all safety requirements during your shift
- Working with the production team to develop and implement solutions to improve productivity and reduce labour cost
- Understanding the departmental KPI's and playing a key role in their delivery
- This is a varied and challenging role and the successful candidate must be:
- A skilled, apprentice trained engineer
- Have previous experience carrying out electrical repairs within a food manufacturing environment,
- including belt drives and PLC control
