This is a great opportunity to work for an established retail brand.
As Design and Production Manager you will be responsible for managing key elements of the brand, most importantly delivering all imagery and tone of voice across Web, Brochure, Advertising and Stores. The role is currently supported by an in house graphic designer and external design agency however part of this exciting role is the opportunity to manage the transition of moving all aspects of the design in house.
Reporting directly to Head of Marketing the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Brand guardianship, ensuring quality and consistency of all content design
- Developing and communicating brand concepts to internal and external stakeholders
- Co-ordinating, conceptualising, briefing and art directing all location and in house photo shoots to create strong brand imagery
- Managing the design and pagination of four seasonal brochures per year
- Managing the design for all digital activity inc website content and weekly email campaigns
- Managing the design content for seasonal and promotional signage for stores
- Managing the design content for national advertising campaigns
- Process management, Identifying and improving key processes to ensure team efficiency and timely content delivery
- Establishing multiple critical paths and managing workflow within the design team and internal and external stakeholders
- Overseeing ongoing content requests in line with overall marketing objectives
- Ability to manage and influence key stakeholders inc, Senior management team, Buying, Marketing and Finance Depts.
- Managing a graphic designer with a view to recruiting additional creative support
- Managing the reprographics process
- Managing the photography budget
Key Skills/Experience
- An understanding/passion for retail market
- Graphic design skills preferable but not essential.
- A creative manager who has worked within a multi channel retail environment or closely related sector
- Commercial acumen
- Experience in briefing, co-ordinating and art directing photo shoots
- Team management
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Experience in developing and managing critical paths
- Budget management
- Attention to detail
