Argos is looking for a Publications Manager / Team Manager to oversee and support our publications team. You will manage and motivate a team to deliver projects like the iconic Argos Catalogue and Flyers. This is a critical role that ensures delivery of these projects within agreed timescales and budgets. Working within a fast paced environment we are looking for someone who can engage stakeholder and the wider publications team as well as shaping future development in ways of working, system development and taking an external view to support Argos becoming a digital retail leader.



As the UK's leading multi-channel retailer, Argos provides a unique offer of choice, value and convenience to meet customer needs, selling products through its 737 stores, website and mobile apps. Customers can make purchases from stores across the UK and Ireland, online or over the phone. They can also pick up their goods from a store or have them delivered.



As a Publications Manager / Team Manager your main responsibilities will be to:

Manage the team to ensure timely & accurate production of pages to meet the creative & brand brief.
Proactive stakeholder management to ensure on time in full & accurate briefing & approval of artwork.
Identify & deliver opportunities to improve ways of working.
Proactive & cost efficient resource management to ensure sufficient capacity available to deliver in peak production periods.



As a Publications Manager / Team Manager your skills and experience will ideally include:

Ability to lead and energise a team, build a climate of trust, support development and improve colleague performance.
Able to secure support and buy in from key stakeholders, through influencing productivity
Project management
Able to make decisions at pace and manage multiple projects simultaneously
