You will be part of a very dynamic and busy IT team which supports all aspects of IT for a multi-site business in the UK. Providing support and development of the company’s core business systems and associated system, ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s business systems and the business processes that rely upon them.

You will focus on Business Systems improvement. Analyse the company’s business systems and processes, recommending and implementing improvements where necessary. This activity relies upon the individual being a recognised expert on the business system and being able to use this expertise to assist and influence the wider business. 

They would expect the below skills and experience:

• Movex and M3 experience essential
• Experience of MRP is essential
• Experience of using 3rd party factory production and schedule planning systems
• WMS – either using standardised Movex/M3 functionality or 3rd party systems
• Any process automation systems
• Experience of using 3PL’s for stock distribution/sales (interfacing projects)
• Extensive troubleshooting background – with ability to look into database tables in order to find answers to complex issues.
• SQL scripting
• Requirements gathering; Identify process improvements, Specification of new reports to aid the continued improvements of the site
• Experience of MOM, MEC, DAF, EDI, Streamserve, LCM, mashups is also very desirable but not essential
