The Engineering Department at Barnsley College provides a dynamic, vibrant and rewarding working environment where your skills will be used to their full potential. We are aiming to recruit dynamic Lecturers to join our team to deliver outstanding provision to the region's young engineers.

The successful candidate will be part of a curriculum team contributing to course development, planning and student support. You will have the opportunity to teach on a range of courses at levels from levels 1 to 3, including full time and part time provision. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, person able to teach to a high standard. Candidates must have a teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) or a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer in Electrical Installation. The successful candidate will join the team to deliver L2 and L3 Electrical Installation to full and part-time learners, as part of our EAL accredited provision. The successful candidate will be required to manage a caseload of learners to ensure the successful and timely completion of their frameworks.

You are required to have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Electrical Installation occupational area, a recognised assessor qualification along with at least 2 years' recent work experience in an engineering, engineering education or manufacturing discipline. You need to have experience of undertaking formal employee assessment in the work place.
