Wessex Primary School is a large, forward thinking and happy school, located in extensive grounds and fabulous buildings, including our double decker bus classroom and sensory room.

The school has just been awarded “GOOD” by Ofsted, who (amongst many strengths) found that “Wessex Primary is a school where individuals (staff as well as pupils) are cared for, valued and helped to achieve. Pupils enjoy school and many said their teachers are ‘fantastic’. Pupils behave well and have positive attitudes to learning. The way the school looks after pupils personal development and welfare is outstanding.” (Ofsted May 2016)

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Nurse to join our EYFS team, working across FS1 and FS2. You will have a thorough understanding of the principals that underpin the EYFS and help our children by identifying and promoting every opportunity to learn with a focus on the characteristics of effective learning. Wessex Foundation Stage offers a nurturing environment where pupils feel secure and are set challenges which enable them to meet or exceed expectations. We consider the whole child and work on developing life-long learning success.

We offer enthusiastic, well-behaved children, hardworking and caring staff, supportive parents and governors, outstanding CPD and the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the life of our vibrant school.

Informal visits positively encouraged!
