A Technical Events Project Manager is required to join one of the UK's leading audio visual, event production companies.

The ideal candidate for this role will be either experienced in audio visual project management/coordination or an experienced audio / video / audio-visual engineer who feels they are confident enough to project manage major events on any given day.

You will be expected to liaise with clients and provide technical, creative and event support. You will have to display an excellent understanding of audio and video and lighting equipment used within live events, particularly awards shows.

You will be expected to "hit the ground running" be able to work under pressure, be outgoing, client facing, have a "can do" attitude and be forward thinking. You must also be available to work throughout UK and Europe when required.

Reporting to the Production Director, your key areas of responsibility will be to:
- Provide technical audio-visual support and quotations to clients.
- Produce H&S documentation for all events.
- Represent the company at site meetings.
- Managing specialist sub-contractors including rigging, set & stage etc.
- Manage events on time and within budget.

Essential Requirements:
- Extensive experience of live events both in an operational and management capacity.
- A very good technical understanding of audio & video equipment used on events, large and small.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Enthusiasm, energy and the ability to work flexibly and accurately with tight deadlines.

Location : Loughborough,
Salary : Negotiable £25k to £35kOTE
Hours : Flexible (occasional weekend, evening & overseas)

Required education:
- High school or equivalent

Required experience:
- Audio Visual Project Management: 3 years

Required licence or certification:
- Driving Licence
