Associate Lecturers in Construction - Brick, Electrical, Civil Engineering & Plumbing

Variable Hours

£24.28 per hour

We are looking to increase our numbers of Associate Lecturers within our Construction faculty who may be interested in a career in teaching and have a Construction background who want to pass on the valuable skills and experience they have developed whilst working within the building industry.

We are specifically looking for candidates with a background in brickwork, electrical, civil engineering and plumbing.  Courses offered to students include basic to advanced levels in all of these areas, we give students the opportunity to learn a range of practical skills supported by in-depth under pinning knowledge of the subject. Our methods of delivery ensure that the skills our students develop meet the needs of employers, industry standards and allow for progression into employment. We have a large number of students completing full time and apprenticeship programmes in these areas at the Construction Faculty in Sowton, Exeter.

Whilst ideal candidates will have a teaching or assessor qualification, it is your industry skills, experience and passion to help young people into employment within the construction sector that we rely on most.
