A rapidly expanding travel company based in Nottingham are looking for a talented and experienced in-house IT Engineer who can show a good level of experience supporting the business with its IT needs.

The business has expanded rapidly in recent years and won an award for the ‘Fastest Growing Business' in the 2013 Midlands Family Business Awards. Within the Halsbury Group there are six brands spanning different sectors of the school travel market.

The successful applicant will have primary responsibility for supporting staff and maintaining the network. They will have excellent communication skills and will be able to manage the different needs, demands and expectations of a diverse range of internal clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to hardware and software support calls from internal & remote users
• Maintaining company backup solutions
• Provisioning of new hardware / software when required
• Maintaining company telecoms solution
• Liaising with external service providers

Experience and skills

• Extensive experience in second line & field support
• Expertise in Windows O/S, Server technologies and Office Package
• System analysis and design, rollouts, project work
• Networking, including: LAN's, WANS, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Server virtualisation, Antivirus Management, Telecoms, Routers, Servers and Clients
