At this forward thinking 2 form entry school, as a Deputy Head Teacher you will be working alongside a long standing head teacher and part of a very talented team. You will become part of an ambitious SLT who are looking to raise standards throughout, pushing the school on from its consistently 'Good' grade and to become an 'Outstanding' Primary School. You will be an integral part of this movement and ambitious project, so a high level of enthusiasm and commitment is required for this permanent DHT post.

The ideal candidate will be a career-minded Deputy Head Teacher or successful middle leader who has been graded as 'Good' or better in their own recent observations. You should possess a strong understanding of the national curriculum and how best to use this in delivering consistently high calibre lessons. The school wants applications who can show a natural talent for communication and organisation and are able to lead from the front, keen to contribute to the ongoing school improvement programme. You will be working in a KS2 class, so a sound knowledge of the curriculum and excellent classroom practice is essential.
