Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join one of our top clients based in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and experienced team. The main purpose of this role is to provide support to the company's accounting team with a strong knowledge of all round general accounting.
The Role:
* Purchase Ledger duties
* Sales ledger duties
* Credit Control
* Credit card payments
* Checking and coding staff expenses
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Applying Nominal Codes to purchase invoices
* Contacting suppliers and customers via email, phone & letter
* Filing / scanning / photocopying & faxing
* Typing purchase requisitions and orders
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience within a similar role previously
* Ideally have working knowledge of Sage 50 or Sage 200
* Organised and have good attention to detail
* Must have very good communication skills to liaise with other departments
This role will interview and commence almost immediately so little or no notice period would be ideal but is not essential!
