Our clients are a Multidisciplinary practice looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their enthusiastic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help build and develop a role in a growing and respected company. The role suits someone who is looking to progress their career while working for a fun and friendly office with a healthy work-life balance.
Based at their offices on the South Coast, the role will be focused predominately within the South East, covering Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Kent, together with outer and greater London.
You should ideally have at least 2-3 years' experience post-graduation and either near to or recently chartered.
You will need a positive proactive approach, strong inter-personal skills and have a strong grasp of Quantity Surveying with commitment to fully contribute to maintaining the company's growing market reputation. You should be able to prioritise and meet deadlines, as well as having good commercial awareness.
Desired Skills & Experience
Key Responsibilities:
-Preparation of Budget Estimates, Cost Plans and Tender Documents
-Preparation of Contract Documents
-Post-Contract Valuation, Cost Report and Final Account negotiations
-Project Management skills including the ability to manage the team and deliver the clients' objectives
-Chairing and minuting Site Progress Meetings
