THE COMPANY: Our client is a a unique, high performing, successful and oversubscribed school based in Duston, boasting some 1500+ students with a secondary phase, thriving 6 th Form, and a recently opened primary phase. Their facilities include extensive sports grounds, a swimming pool and state of the art purpose built curriculum suites including a designated 6 th Form area. They are now seeking an IT Systems Manager to join their team.
THE ROLE:Our client is seeking an IT Systems Manager to join their school in Duston. Within the role, responsibilities will include strategically leading, managing and supporting all technician aspects of curriculum and administrative ICT in the school, keeping all at the forefront of ICT. The role will also involve working with and advising students, parents, teachers and senior leadership teams as the school continues to up-skill all stakeholders' ICT skills. You will be managing a team of ICT Technicians to support the delivery of high quality IT services.

Key experience essential for the role:
- Hold a recognised IT qualification such as an MCSE or equivalent
- Excellent ICT skills to MCP level
- Knowledge and hands on experience with a multitude of technologies and services
- Relevant experience/skill/knowledge in ICT front line support
- An excellent record of punctuality and reliability
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and gain further qualifications
- Flexibility and adaptability to the needs of the school on a daily basis including the ability to work outside of normal hours and outside of term time as required
- Degree (or equivalant) in a related field
- Hold or working towards Cisco Certified Network Professional Qualification
- PRINCE2 Project Management Qualification
- ITIL Qualification
- VCP Certified
